  • itelbpo assists Government of Jamaica with its COVID response plans

At the end of February 2020, the Government of Jamaica (GOJ), in partnership with Portland Caribbean Fund II portfolio company itelbpo, launched the ‘ONE LOVE’ hotline for COVID assistance. It is part of the GOJ’s Disaster Risk Management strategy. A little over a year later, and US$750,000 in donated support from itelbpo, the company has signed a contract with the GOJ to deliver customer experience management solutions to support the nation in registering and making appointments for COVID-19 vaccines.

Observers have noted it as a great example of a company providing essential services at scale, and doing well while doing good. The company has over 1,500 full-time employees across its sites located in Montego Bay and Kingston, Jamaica, Freeport, Grand Bahama, Tampa, Florida, Monterrey, Mexico and work at home across 12 US states.
